Two other famous Christmas markets are the one at\u00a0Alexanderplatz<\/strong>\u00a0and just a few metres from there at\u00a0Rotes Rathaus<\/strong>. I will tell you where you find a\u00a0rink for ice skating<\/strong>,\u00a0real snow<\/strong>, which doesn\u2019t depend on the weather and\u00a0meet Santa Claus<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The next Christmas market I visited was the one around the\u00a0Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0Breitscheidplatz in Charlottenburg<\/strong>. The Christmas market is right next to the famous shopping street of\u00a0Kurf\u00fcrstendamm<\/strong>. You can reach it by subway getting out at \u201cZoologischer Garten\u201d or \u201cKurf\u00fcrstendamm\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Berlin has more than 50 Christmas markets, including the\u00a0Winterworld at Potsdamer Platz<\/strong>. Potsdamer Platz is one of the most famous places for tourists to visit in Berlin because it is\u00a0close to the Brandenburger Gate\u00a0<\/strong>and therefore to the former Berlin Wall. It also offers one of the first traffic lights in Europe (1924), two huge malls, and the Sony Centre nearby. In the Christmas season, there is a huge market \u2013 or actually, two because they are separated. You can reach the markets really easily by trains and the subway (the station name is also called Potsdamer Platz).<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Berlin offers more than 50 Christmas markets, including one located at\u00a0Charlottenburg Palace<\/strong>. Charlottenburg is one of the most expensive districts in Berlin, and in my opinion, also one of the fancier ones. This\u00a0Christmas market<\/strong>\u00a0in front of the castle can be reached with a ten-minute walk from the train station \u2018Westend\u2019, or alternatively, there is a bus stop right in front of it.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
